Built for the Monday after launch.
Northscale is a design and AI studio run by Alwyn van Vuuren and Marelize Claasens, working from the Netherlands and South Africa.
Alwyn spent twelve years in logistics operations before building with AI, so every project starts where the work happens.
We start with the process. Before we design a screen or an agent, we sit with the people who do the work and find out where the hours go.
We keep the studio small on purpose. The people you meet on the first call are the people who design, build and support your project, and we stay after launch to make sure it keeps working.
What we believe.
Agents propose. People approve.
Agents read, sort and draft. A person signs off on anything that matters.
Fewer clients, deeper work.
We take on a few projects at a time and stay with them after launch.
Plain language.
No jargon in our proposals, our reports or your website.
Built to be found.
Every site we ship is structured for search engines and AI assistants from day one.
Measure what moved.
We report hours saved, rankings and citations, and we fix what did not move.
Design and engineering in one room.
The people who design it build it, so nothing gets lost between a mock-up and the code.
Two countries, one working day.

The Netherlands and South Africa keep the same time for most of the year and sit an hour apart in the European winter, so our working days overlap almost completely.
How we work.
Listen
We learn how you work today: your numbers, your inbox, your customers and how people find you.
Shape
Strategy, identity, site map and agent design, sketched on your real numbers and your real content. You see the plan and the price before we build anything.
Build
We design and code the site, build and test the agents, and wire up tracking. You review every stage.
Improve
After launch we measure what moved, from rankings and AI citations to hours saved, and fix what did not.
