Who we are

This website belongs to Northscale Studio, a design and AI studio working from the Netherlands and South Africa. Questions about your data go to info@northscale.studio.

What we collect, and why

We only receive what you choose to send us:

• A brief from the menu or the contact page: the services you tick, your name, your email address, your company if you add it, and your notes.
• An AI visibility check: your website address and your email address.
• An email you write to us directly.

We use this to reply to you, to prepare a proposal and, if we work together, to run the project. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking.

Cookies and storage

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser keeps a few small things on your own device, and none of them are ever sent to us:

• For this visit only (cleared when you close the tab): whether you have already entered the site, and whether the demo inbox has already drafted replies while you were away.
• Your settings: whether you turned the sound on, and whether you switched the single-key shortcuts off.
• Only if you ask: if you choose “Keep my writing for next time” on the opening screen, a small picture of what you drew on the glass, so it can reappear next time. It is deleted after 30 days, or straight away if you choose it again to forget it.

You can clear all of this at any time in your browser settings.

Who else is involved

The site is served through a hosting and content delivery provider, which processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. Our fonts, images and music are hosted with the site, so loading a page does not contact font, image or music services elsewhere. Email we exchange with you passes through our email provider.

How long we keep it

We keep your messages for as long as we need them to work with you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to how we use it. Email info@northscale.studio and we will answer within one month.

If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or, in South Africa, to the Information Regulator.

Changes

If we change how this site handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
